Raven tattoos are continuing to gain prominence in the field of tattoos. But what exactly makes them such a darling of such halls? Ravens are powerful birds, beautiful just like the rest of the birds, but I guess that is not enough to make them beat the tight competition and win the admiration of many seeking to have tattoos. They must have some symbolism that carries them on.
Mythology has it that ravens were a show of the gods aiding the fighting tribes in their wars. Well, in the past when all about success was measured on the battlefield, ravens must have been so symbolic and much welcome than what people deem them this day.
Ravens further indicate some sort of spirituality. Such birds would descend on the battlefields after the guns fell and eat up the corpses of the fallen warriors, which traditionalists believed was to preserve their spirit and carry them high in the sky.
Ravens also depict a mind capable of formulating a passage where none seems to exist, which is one of the qualities every human heart hunts every day.
